I know most of the Lesbians in Hollywood who are in the entertainment industry. I've found that they are under-represented on Wikipedia, as they are in the film industry itself. I wish to continue to contribute edits and articles in this genre, that is indeed near and dear to my heart.

We struggle with the issue of reliable sources in the mainstream media for Lesbian filmakers and actresses. This often becomes an issue with some editors of Wikipedia, who give weight to large media outlets for third-party sources. Add being Lesbian, and you are a fraction minority within a minority trying to compete. Thus, the Wikiepedia articles about women in Hollywood often use references from other forms of media. However, they are notable, real and reliable.

All collaboration and assistance to ensure the integrity of Wikipedia are most welcome.
