Hello all! I'm 42-BRT, a researcher, writer, and photographer from the suburbs of Detroit in the U.S. state of Michigan. I'm a frequent contributor to Wikipedia, often working with topics including (but not limited to) surface transportation, geography, architecture, politics and government, and retail history (with a general focus on the United States) and local history in southeast Michigan.
My contributions to Wikipedia and Commons are just one of the avenues I use to advance the cause of free and open knowledge; I've also created a myriad of other projects, which you can find on my website.
