This template creates a userbox that indicates whether a user is alive or dead.
Use
To use this template, place the following Wiki markup on the user page:
{{user alive|dod=|age=|comment=}}
where:
dod=the optional date of death or the key wordunknownordead(default =alive)age=the optional age at death in years.comment=an optional comment upon death.
If a date of death is included, this template adds the user page to the following category:
