- If the article's FAC subpage was not at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Current article name, then specify the old article name as the first parameter, to give the correct link for view its sub-page.
- To link the word version to the specific version of the article, use
oldid=XXXXXXX, where the number XXXXXXX can be found by clicking on the desired version on the history tab, then looking at the URL in the address bar of your browser. If oldid is not specified, version just links to the history page of the article. - To reduce the template to a smaller box at the right-hand side of the page use
small=yes.
