FTTN uses an alcatel 7330 VRAD for fiber-to-copper multiplexing. the fiber is connected at the CO-end to an alcatel 7450 unit. VRADs are not used for FTTP or FTTC service, as those are fed by splitters, PONS, and other fiber-only modules.144.160.130.16 (talk) 20:19, 28 April 2010 (UTC)I'm not able to find any information about an Alcatel-Lucent 7400 VRAD. Alcatel makes a 7342 ISAM FTTU unit... is that what AT&T is using? Macserv (talk) 17:46, 13 November 2008 (UTC) There are three forms of deployment, FTTP, FTTN, and FTTC (fiber to the curb). I think the description in this article that is depicted as FTTP is really fiber to the curb. FTTP serves only one home/business. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shade69 (talkcontribs) 19:52, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
