Talk:Standard curve

Hope you don't mind my tweaks. I don't recognize the Bradford protein assay. Whatever happened to the Lowry assay for protein? The paper that described that method used to be the most cited paper in the biochemical literature. (a few years ago, anyway...) alteripse 01:16, 4 Feb 2005 (UTC)

We use the Bradford in my lab because it's faster than the Lowry assay, I also used it alot in undergrad. Lowry and the BCA assay are probably the two other common assays, this site has a reasonable summary [1], expand the article as you see fit :) --nixie 23:17, 4 Feb 2005 (UTC)

The problem that students are faced with is that the webpages don't go in detail so they find it hard to understands many concepts in biochemistry.please make explanations easier for them.

I think standard curves are also used to assign relative molecular weights of proteins and DNA. A section on this might be included — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.232.173.26 (talk) 16:14, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
