New move?
I don't understand what happened with the old move. I feel like the page should be moved again to expand to include internet as well as TV? Likeanechointheforest (talk) 21:47, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Likeanechointheforest: when I moved this from Spectrum (Charter) to Spectrum (cable service) in September 2017, I thought (cable service) was complete, not partial disambiguation. But now that they offer mobile phone service as well, their services are not limited to those tethered to a coaxial cable. We could do worse than just move this back to Spectrum (Charter), where it was in September 2017. Or maybe Spectrum (brand), not to be confused though with Spectrum Brands. My brainwave spectrum is getting tired from just thinking about this. – wbm1058 (talk) 22:20, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
- I support the new move, Wbm1058 Good call. - FlightTime (open channel) 22:58, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
- I do too! Likeanechointheforest (talk) 19:15, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
- Page moved to Spectrum (brand) due to Spectrum (TV service) being overly-narrow disambiguation. – wbm1058 (talk) 15:07, 24 June 2022 (UTC)

Not a word about
the years-long strike? 2600:1017:B81F:3F88:0:4E:8DB6:A401 (talk) 04:26, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
This page is a mess
Road Runner was never part of Charter or Spectrum, it was part of Time Warner Cable and Bright House (which Charter bought out). Failing any objections, I'm going to move some of the Road Runner stuff into TWC's article when I have more time on my hands to do that. Owner and owned
I have Spectrum for internet and cable TV. They identify themselves as Spectrum, not Charter. I was hoping to be able to understand whether Spectrum owns Charter or Charter owns Spectrum. This article does not help. Sam Tomato (talk) 05:15, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
They were previously named Charter Communications, but rebranded in 2014 as just Spectrum. Matthew Tyler-Harrington (aka mth8412) (talk) 11:33, 30 December 2022 (UTC)
spectrum.com or spectrum.net?
Is the official website spectrum.com or spectrum.net? Is it both? This edit changed the website, but none of the editor's contributions have comments about why the changes were made (though the others are user pages and grammar). 131.93.208.196 (talk) 00:21, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- spectrum.com is their public and retail presence. spectrum.net is their subscriber portal. I'll change the official website link back to .com Tabanger 20:49, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
