Talk:Show-Me Institute

Balance

This organization article, apparently written by a former employee of the organization, fails to demonstrate a NPOV, in that it alleges that its favored small-government principles both maximize liberty and efficiency. Both positions are highly contested political positions subject to substantial scholarly, theoretical, and empirical disagreement.

Notability

This organization article, written by former Show-Me Institute editor Timothy Lee, does not offer any evidence of the topic's notability. Are any sources which establish such notability available, or is this an example of WP:COI? DickClarkMises (talk) 16:44, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this guy sufficiently notable for mention? I went to the organization webpage and there is an entire board of directors, which he is not on. There is an entire page of staff members, and he is just some listing in the middle. The inclusion in this article frankly seems promotional. I am thus removing the reference to him, but if someone can add a referenced statement to establish notability aside from the fact that he is just a vice president, please feel free to add a new reference to him. To clarify, there should be some clear criterion for why he is listed and all of the board members and other staff members are not.Locke9k (talk) 15:54, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
