Talk:Scripting for the Java Platform

Actions

We need a list of scripting engines which engines claim JSR-223 compatibility.

Updates Needed

Sun/Oracle has unfortunately completely changed the website that hosted the Scripting project and I can't seem to locate all the content that was previously on the page. The link to:

http://scripting.dev.java.net/

now redirects to:

http://java.net/projects/scripting/

which seems to be mostly blank. The previous URL did contain a list of all the scripting engines claiming JSR-223 compatibility. It can be seen in the WayBackMachine at:

http://replay.waybackmachine.org/20070610234337/https://scripting.dev.java.net/

as of June 2007. It would be useful to understand what of that information is public domain could be brought across onto this wiki page.
