So I'm guessing there's no page dedicated to explaining the origins/meanings of the phrase "scott free" as in, "After pleading guilty to the charges, the entire audience was surprised to see the defendent sentanced to timed served, effectively letting him off scott free". At least that's what I expected to find when I got here. Lime in the Coconut 14:11, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
- Now that I've looked a little deeper, it seems that I've just misspelled it. I was looking for "scot-free". Maybe I should add that to the main article disambiguation? I don't know if it's policy to disambiguate common misspellings. I guess I'll go ahead and add it. If I'm wrong in doing so, please correct me. Lime in the Coconut 14:19, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
- I've moved it to a "see also". -- GertBySea (talk) 14:43, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
