Flag of Elba
The page Flag of Elba already exists on the English wikipedia, and the origins of the flag itself are cited as Napoleon's rule over the island. I have used the flag from the aforementioned article, which is cited there being the same as the one from Napoleon's reign. If this is inaccurate it should probably be mentioned and/or changed in both articles. MattW93 (talk) 10:24, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
Congress of Vienna
The section Principality of Elba#Dissolution says
- After his defeat at the Battle of Waterloo, the delegates of the Congress of Vienna agreed to exile Napoleon to the Island of St. Helena
But Congress of Vienna#Final Act says
- The Final Act, embodying all the separate treaties, was signed on 9 June 1815 (a few days before the Battle of Waterloo)
and says nothing about Napoleon. In addition, Napoleon's Britons and the St Helena Decision by Paul F. Brunyee (2009) says at length that Briton alone decided where to send him. So I'm removing the assertion about the Congress of Vienna. Loraof (talk) 20:05, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
