Lead Section Critique

This article is an absolutely fantastic read, but I believe the lead section could be made far more thorough than it currently is. Most notably, a significant chunk of the underlying article discusses different theories for voting behavior, but this phenomenon is never given explicit mention in the lead. Additionally, visual modeling of political cognition is non-existent in the article, something that could be incredibly useful for helping readers conceptualize the different theories presented. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hunerwithat (talkcontribs) 18:38, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
