Not in accord with British usage

The page notes "(Redirected from Right hand man)".

The text does not well reflect British usage, in which a right-hand man is rarely a personal assistant, but rather an extremely significant friend and/or colleague. A PA is rarely capable of undertaking the prime tasks of his principle, but rather relieves the principal of many relatively routine tasks; a PA can fairly readily be replaced. A right-hand man is commonly one who might well be considered for promotion to the principal's position. He may be considered indispensable. 94.30.84.71 (talk) 16:31, 23 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
