Restructuring Page
While informative, the current structure of the page feels disconnected. Contributions made over the last 14 years have resulted in a page that seems to lack the out-bound linking/citations, focus (methods, legal cases, tax treatments, and market sizing make the page feel disjointed), and citations an article like this deserves.
I've proposed a flow below:
Summary/Overview
Etymology
Terms: Parties Involved, "Canonical" Payment Example,
Methods: Cash, Cheque/Check, Electronic Funds Transfers (ex: ACH, Wire, RTP/FedNOW, Faster Payments System), Card (Credit & Debit), Cryptocurrency/Blockchain
