Added cleanup the style of the article do we need to have this text 2x both in history and att the top ?

IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Netezza Corporation (NYSE: NZ) on September 20, 2010 announced they have entered into a definitive agreement for IBM to acquire Netezza, a publicly held company based in Marlborough, Mass., in a cash transaction at a price of $27 per share or at a net price of approximately $1.7 billion, after adjusting for cash. Netezza will expand IBM's business analytics initiatives to help clients gain faster insights into their business information, with increased performance at a lower cost. [19]

That's not how FPGAs work. They don't have spare cycles that can be used for whatever, that's a CPU. FPGAs generally are laid out for one specific task, like an ASIC or a circuit board, and can only do that task.--Skintigh (talk) 19:56, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removed "Introduction" heading and its contents in an effort to remove parts of the article that appear to be written like an advertisement, per the notice at top of article. Removed potentially inappropriate external links for same reason. Also removed the cleanup template at top of page.

IBM has announced that they will no longer support Netezza after Jan 30, 2019.
