Talk:Nancy Faust

Untitled

I like Nancy as much as any baseball fan, but is it really neutral to say that she is "the most prominent and respected sports musician in history"? And can we credit her with making Na Na Hey Hey into a hit without sourcing it? --BoojiBoy, 00:37, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am red-faced to admit that I had not caught that hyperbolic, breathless assertion previously. I took it out as well as the NPOV flag. Her part in helping to make the "Na-Na-Hey-Hey-Goodbye" song so popular is well-known and many references can be found on the Internet. If there were any doubt about its association with the Sox, keep in mind that it is never played on the North Side. It's a Sox thing. Wahkeenah 04:11, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
