Formula source?

I could not track the source of the following formula:

I have "Exploratory Multivariate Analysis by Example Using R" book but could not find it there. It might be a good idea to reference page number. Vzaliva (talk) 05:53, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?

This article meanders. Hard to tell at first glance what the relationship is PCA; it introduces parochial terms; and it's unclear how relevant Pierre B is to the discussion. Crasshopper (talk) 16:42, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

a wild guess: this meandering mess was written by an acolyte of his who has had to treat him like a god in order to pass their PhD? 145.53.11.225 (talk) 14:55, 2 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This equivalence does not mean that MCA is a particular case of PCA as it is not a particular case of CA.

That is neither here nor there. Also an odd thing to say after you demonstrate exactly how MCA reduces to PCA. 145.53.11.225 (talk) 14:54, 2 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
