I've found that the launch date is inconsistent across Wikipedia and external sources. See Talk:Mir#Core_module_launch_date? for details. -- 195.176.112.147 (talk) 13:01, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have done a complete and total re-write of this article to bring it up to a more acceptable standard. Not to mention the information in the previous revisions was extremely duplicated. I have used the sources in the original article and have added a few new ones.
