Terra Linda
Here's a small problem. Gold's obituary in the NYT misspells the place he was living in at his death. Kaiser Hospital is in Terra Linda, not Terra Inda. How can we accomplish the change without doing OR? Rlitwin (talk) 17:19, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- His page on Spartacus.schoolnet also has Terra Linda, the whole entry actually is better that this one.--Radh (talk) 16:44, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
Brother Max Granich
Someone deleted some very interesting material about Gold's brother Max Granich, who was an underground agent in the Far East in the 1930s. Material had solid citations from Andrew Meier's book The Lost Spy about Isaiah ("Cy") Oggins (who also has a wiki entry) and had clean cross-references. Question is: why delete that information? It certainly posed some interesting insight into Mike Gold's Party affiliations.Aboudaqn (talk)
- Fairly obviously, because it should be in an article on Max Granich. If you have sources showing they collaborated, it would be fair to mention that in both bios, I think- but it would have to be explicit. No OR, as they say. What bakes my noodle is the same thing prohibits me from mentioning that the majority of the Hollywood 10 were Jewish, because dividing 6 by 10 is original research, I guess. Maybe I'll give it a try, though. Only problem about the internet is I can't look at a person and demand they look me back in the eyes when they give me a response.
