"Except for his autobiography, Malcolm X left no published writings. His philosophy is known almost entirely from the many speeches and interviews he gave from 1952 until his death." [280]
"These meetings and experiences inspired Malcolm X to write an essay entitled "Zionist Logic" that was published in the Egyptian Gazette." [297]
Why is this? Is "published writings" another way of saying books, and it excludes essays and columns? Because certainly we have at least one example of him writing something, that was published. Unknown Temptation (talk) 15:10, 22 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]
The article has been scrubbed of any mention of antisemitism, and the Zionist Logic essay likewise paints Malcom X negatively. This article is a puff piece. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-19883-02 (talk) 19:27, 30 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]
POV issues
This article has multiple occasions on which it uses positive hyperbole when describing Malcom X and the Nation of Islam. For example, the opening expose uses the phrase "rose from poverty", however it is important to remember that Wikipedia is not for the purpose of writing biographies, and so therefore this form of language should be excluded. There are far too many instances of this in this article to list here, so I request that another editor could modify this in order to fix it. If this is not done with enough haste I shall do so myself. MatthewPowerSwords (talk) 09:09, 16 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
There was a reference inside the Early years heading, I'm not sure what it's intended purpose was.
