Referenced in animation series HOOPS

Lisa Nowak was referenced in the second episode of the Netflix animated series HOOPS, but I don't know how to make an adequate reference or link. 2607:FEA8:8420:E75B:856E:6D1A:F2B2:DECE (talk) 03:54, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

convicted criminal?

I suppose you can describe her as convicted criminal but I just found it a very cruel and non-formal way to address someone's biography. It would make sense if the article is about a person who is notable for being a criminal, but I felt like in this case putting that in the later parts of lead by briefly mentioning in the section concerning her personal life is most appropriate. Not to mention this undermines her scientific contributions which should be the focus points of the article because the first things that caught my attention is she being described as a convicted criminal. Not just a convicted criminal, a criminal convicted of (assault and) battery. That is, she is unquestionably a criminal, not to mention her adultery - which is not illegal in the USA, but is conduct unbecoming an officer and she was found guilty of that and sanctioned. Oh, poor baby. It's "cruel" and "non-formal" (non-formal?? LMFAO!) to mention what a sleaze-bag she is? Turns out, behavior has consequences. Nowak is NOTORIOUS for her CRIMINAL CONDUCT. She bought a large knife, for god's sake, as part of her confrontation kit. Cruel? Hardly. It's not even what she should have, in a just world, got for her intent to harm, probably torture and kill, Shipman. Probation and time served? Now, that's injustice.98.21.88.244 (talk) 09:03, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
