I was paid by LendUp to revise and update this page.Tlvernon (talk) 17:13, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
November 2025 COI editing by article subject
On November 26, 2025, Sashaorloff (the article subject, Sasha Orloff) directly edited this article to remove documented federal enforcement actions. This follows the pattern of paid/connected editing already documented on this talk page (Tlvernon 2018, LauraBehrens 2013).
Content removed by Sashaorloff:
- Entire "CEO permanent ban" section documenting the CFPB Stipulated Final Judgment and Order (Case No. 3:21-cv-06945-JSC)
- Entire "Political connections" section (James Petras 2015 article)
- Section V prohibitions listing what LendUp officers are permanently banned from doing
- Subsequent activities including founding Puzzle Financial
- Theorem/Pagaya investment connection with Y Combinator and Altman Family LLC
- SEC filing citation from Pagaya Technologies
Claims made by Sashaorloff on Wikipedia:Help_desk:
- Called citations "made up" despite linking to federal government documents
- Claimed links were "404/errors" when another editor (BrandNewSaint) verified "none of the links were dead"
- Attributed a quote to me ("I will flood you with bad press and SEO hijacking") that I have no trace of anywhere, claiming he has a screenshot but "the system is not letting me upload it"
- Admitted to surveilling my LinkedIn posts after blocking me ("I discovered this from his LinkedIn post")
For context: I am a federal whistleblower with 5 SEC complaints, a California State Bar complaint (Case No. 25-O-30894), and a California Board of Accountancy complaint (Case No. A-2026-1047) filed regarding Mr. Orloff and related entities. I edited this article on November 7, 16, and 17, 2025 to add sourced information about federal enforcement actions.
Sources Mr. Orloff claims are "made up":

- SEC filing from Pagaya Technologies: https://investor.pagaya.com/static-files/dc62a517-9636-4a9d-9f6a-9e731a702992

- Patrick, you are continue to acknowledge that you are using Wikipedia to "SEO Hijack" this page. Here is a screenshot of your LinkedIn post:
- Your blog references the Wikipedia edits that you created / invented as source. The CFPB never banned anyone from doing anything, which is why your links cannot cite, source or reference this. You link simply to a government website homepage.
- Citing another blog, James Petras, with up and unsourced blog are also not evidence, just demonstrating your anti-semitism.
- These are violations of Wikipedias code of conduct. Sashaorloff (talk) 05:06, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
