- When I started working on John Nicolaas Block I didn't know he had a middle name so I 'needed' the "John Block" page and suggested that this page could be renamed into "John Block (disambiguation)" with as result that "John Block" would become available and that the link to "John Rusling Block" would not vanish. After I found out about the middle name that problem was solved. In the mentioned reason the words "more than" were erroneously omitted. Sorry for any inconvenience. I don't understand why you're trying to move this page. It's a disambiguation page for the two John Blocks on Wikipedia. Are you saying that one is more notable than the other and therefore deserves the main John Block article? Please explain the reasons for the move here and on the Wikipedia:Requested moves page. —Cleared as filed. 23:20, 20 November 2005 (UTC)

- It's fine as it is. There's no reason to have a page with (disambiguation) in the name unless someone is so important as to take the main article name. Tedernst 07:35, 1 December 2005 (UTC)
- Oppose, you only need "disambiguation" in the title if one of them is clearly important enough to be the default. Gene Nygaard 15:56, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
It was requested that this article be renamed but there was no consensus for it be moved.
