Hand percussion?
Is the infobox correct that jam blocks are usually hand percussion? The photo shows a jam block that is obviously designed to be attached to something and the article says "Jam blocks are usually attached...". --Macrakis (talk) 03:37, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Jam blocks, like wood blocks, are sometimes mounted in a drum kit (for rock and jazz particularly), other times are held in one hand and hit with a stick held in the other (for latin, particularly). I do both regularly. Andrewa (talk) 14:24, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
