This admiral from the privateering Dunkirk Squadron (Flanders Auxiliary Fleet, Spaniard Netherlands) was known in Spanish as "Jaques Colarte" or "Collarte". I'm afraid many Spanish-speaking people is gonna get lost when trying to find this article. Collaart the Elder died from a disease at Corunna (Galicia)about 1638. And I have no intention of editing the main article. It´s not shyness. Just respect. Excerpts from Stradling: "The plan for 1637 was for Colaert to sail from La Coruña, escorting the transports of infantry reinforcements [bound for Flanders]. Ops, there's a problem. A high official from Gades called Pedro de Colarte y Dowers y Cartiers (sic!), who was a native from Dunkirk and a knight of Santiago as well, became marquess of Pedroso on 18 December 1690.
