Define Gel Point
This article called "Gel Point" never defines the term "gel point", a term which is never used in the article! 129.234.0.8 (talk) 23:50, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
Define Variables
It doesn't make much sense using variables without even stating what they mean... Phil --90.136.204.75 (talk) 10:32, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
Misc
I dont know how to do that redirect thing. I wanna change it so that searching gel point goes to the redirect page first because i realised there is more than 1 reference to different materials of gel point so i made another one specifically for diesel gel point but i cant get this page to redirect to the disambiguation page instead. Thx in advance? Do bots know how to do these stuff? LOL! Venny85 (talk) 14:56, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi Venny85, thanks for creating the disamb page. Nice solution. There is however no need to redirect gel point to gel point (disambiguaton) V8rik (talk) 20:54, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
critical value of alpha vs gel point
This needs some changes to be accurate. As you can see there are currently 2 very different definitions for critical value of polymerization Pc. Actually the first is the definition of the critical value of the parameter alpha, where if alpha is greater than 1 then the polymerization can theoretically reach the gel point. the N used is the average functionality of the reactants used and you will note that if all the reactants only have functionality of 2 (typ. linear with a reactive site on each end)then you cannot create an infinite network. But if you throw in just a small fraction of trifunctional elements then you've got a possible network.
At least we need to define the variables: N as above and r, ρ, and f: from the reference

Expert help required
I think this article went badly wrong here. To my eyes the article doesn't actually explain what "gel point" is. Would it be reasonable to roll back the article to the Revision as of 21:31, 17 March 2013 ? Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:48, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
- Good job, user:Smokefoot, thank you. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:32, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
