Side note on this museum-locked locomotive. #2516 was used in a photo shoot by the great Swindon band XTC for their album titled The Big Express. The photos are found on the record jacket/CD booklet for the album. The numbers of the locomotive are clearly visible in the photos, with the band donning GWR engineer caps and looking dirty with soot and sweat from stoking the engine's fire. 209.112.196.38 (talk) 05:22, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
