Talk:Emotional granularity

Emotional granularity is about construction, not labeling

This article has numerous errors. It describes emotional granularity as a labeling process when it is in fact a construction process. It also associates valence and arousal with "emotion" when in fact they are properties of consciousness (a basic sense of feeling that's with us 24x7, even when we're not emotional) and are more properly called affect. My lab will fix the article as time permits. Lisa feldman barrett (talk) 11:44, 9 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Lisa feldman barrett: Stop your plans now. "My lab will fix the article" is not an acceptable statement. All accounts must be held by individuals, not groups, with only one person editing from each account, and multiple individuals may not coordinate their edits off-wiki. In other words, you may not discuss your edits with other editors except on Wikipedia's own pages, where everybody can see what you're discussing.

Also, whatever positions of authority you may hold outside of Wikipedia, you have no special privileges here. You must provide reliable published sources (see WP:RS) for all claims, and you may not remove other reliably sourced claims. UrielAcosta (talk) 16:34, 9 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
