Talk:Core Graphics
I think this article needs a total rewrite. The primary purpose of the Core Graphics framework is to expose the Quartz 2D graphics API. There is private API which does some fancy effects, but that's secondary. The Quartz 2D page is closer to what this one should be, although it is a bit misleading as well. Realstically, the two probably need to be merged. Sstevenson 08:28, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. Quartz and CoreGraphics are ultimately the same thing. Apple uses the terms interchangeably on their websites and developer documentation. Quartz is the marketing term, CoreGraphics is the non-marketing term. 68.15.179.160 17:15, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
