This article appears to contradict Law enforcement in France as well as other law enforcement related articles. The terms "Gendarmerie" and "Constabulary" seem to be used interchangeably and little regard is paid to the hugely important distinctions between these and "Police" and "Constable". The four terms have very different meanings and differing constitutional significance which are not dealt with ion the article, though I do not profess to be an expert on the subject and so cannot make an adequate corrections. I would strongly suggest clarifying these points and adding references to reliable external sources, I would be happy to render any assistance, though I have very little knowledge of the subject. In a recent video critique of Obama's Omnibus healthcare legislation (see Google "video" Jerry Boykin, Marxism in America) , retired Lt General Jerry Boykin made the assertion that buried in this bill is a statement that Obama proposes to establish a national constabulatory equal in size to our standing military "for use in case of emergency". Boykin likened such an authority to that asserted by Hitler when he created the "brown shirts." Boykin stated that the creation of such an extralegal force is a Marxist tactic that is the forerunner of the destruction of US government as we now know it today. I was not sure of the meaning of "constabulatory" in this context, but Boykin 's use suggests a constabulatory's paramilitary status also might make such an entity a huge "covert operations" entity that would operate outside the purview of usual law. The eccleiastical courts of the 1600's with their jurisdiction over heresy and use of the rack to extract confessions comes to mind. Did an eccleiastical constabulatory make the arrests in such cases?

I am a physician, and I am concerned that the explosive growth of medical science combined with the rapid lengthening of the life cycle may create unsustainable entitlements (Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Unemployment Security, etc) which may reach the status wherein the president may unilaterally declare an emergency. I believe Boykin suspects Muslim intent may underlie such a prospective scenario of anarchy, and that the current administrations aggressive debasement of the dollar is carried out with calculation and design.
