Talk:Comparison of web service frameworks

Note to editors:

I have come to expect from Wikipedia the following correlations of article title to content:

"Comparison of FOOs" <=> a table of various features of different kinds of FOO.

"List of FOOs" <=> a linear list of various kinds of FOO, with limited information about each one.

When searching for information (usually through Category pages), I tend to ignore "List of" articles in favor of "Comparison of" articles. Thus, I consider the article "List of web service frameworks" to really be a Comparison. While I'm tempted to move the contents of that article into this new article, and redirect the original article here, I'm opting to go with the Change Of Least Potential Damage.

Before creating this article I searched for a discussion of "Comparison of ..." vs. "List of ...", but didn't find one (I admit I didn't spend a great deal of time searching). If I've violated any Wikipedia policies or conventions by creating this article, please let me know. I've contributed to Wikipedia in the past, but infrequently, and thus don't consider myself part of the Wikipedia community (yet). I'm writing this explanation to reduce the chances that I'll find this article summarily deleted without explanation. If you believe this page should not have been created, please let me know and tell me why.
