Adding info about Chain Bridge Bank's
I wanted to add a new paragraph into the first section, above History. I have sources from their [1]SEC FILING info from last10k.com and Holland and Knight Advisors announcement Ggevaart (talk) 19:30, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- As long as you have no conflict of interest, you should be bold and add the content.--Mojo Hand (talk) 02:08, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- I think I do- I am working at an agency who was asked to edit this on behalf of Chain Bridge Bank. Would disclosing it in my user page help be more transparent? The information I wanted to edit has citations and is an update on the bank. Ggevaart (talk) 16:12, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for acknowledging the COI. You can add the proposed paragraph here, and I will take a look for you pursuant to the policy.--Mojo Hand (talk) 14:23, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- Sounds good! I wanted to add the proposed paragraph after "Bloomberg Businessweek once called Chain Bridge Bank “The Most Important Bank in America.” The bank has only one location in McLean, 10 miles west of Washington, D.C."
- Proposed paragraph and citations:
- The bank operates as a subsidiary of Chain Bridge Bancorp, Inc., a Delaware-chartered bank holding company. On October 7, 2024, the Company completed its initial public offering (“IPO”) by issuing 1.85 million shares of Class A common stock at a public offering price of $22 per share. The Company raised approximately $40.7 million in gross proceeds from its IPO. Sullivan & Cromwell acted as issuer’s counsel for Chain BridgeBancorp, Inc. in the IPO. citation 1 Piper Sandler Co. served as lead book-running manager, with Raymond James & Associates Inc. and Hovde Group LLC acting as book-running managers for the offering. citation 2 On November 1, 2024, the underwriters partially exercised their over-allotment option, resulting in the sale of an additional 142,897 shares at $22 per share, bringing the total gross proceeds from the IPO to approximately $43.8 million. citation 3 Shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “CBNA." - Your proposed addition looks fine at first glance. However, after a closer look at the article, the general flow and structure is a bit of a mess. I think I need to take a chop at copy-editing and restructuring before I am comfortable adding this. I'll add this to my Wikipedia work list.--Mojo Hand (talk) 16:42, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you! Appreciate it Ggevaart (talk) 17:36, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hello!
- I was curious if you wanted me to try and help edit the flow of the article. You meant that the entire article needs editing — not just the section I sent over, right? Ggevaart (talk) 17:28, 21 January 2025 (UTC)
- The entire article needs editing. I'll try to work on the rest this weekend. You can make suggestions after that. Mojo Hand (talk) 00:02, 25 January 2025 (UTC)

- Ggevaart - I've cleaned up the article enough that I feel comfortable adding new content. Looking at your proposed addition again, I think it would make the most sense to add it to the end of the history section. I also think your addition has a bit too much detail about who ran the IPO for an article just about the bank. Let me know your thoughts.--Mojo Hand (talk) 17:22, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your work cleaning up the article! I would be fine cutting out extra info about the IPO. Should I do that or would you prefer to? Ggevaart (talk) 17:39, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- I've add a portion of the suggested text to the bottom of the history section. Cheers --Mojo Hand (talk) 13:22, 6 February 2025 (UTC)

Add Chain Bridge's Trust and Wealth Department formation
I wanted to add this text:
In 2020, Chain Bridge Bank added a trust and wealth department.
with this citation: https://apps.occ.gov/CAAS_CATS/CAAS_Details.aspx?FilingID=313106&FilingTypeID=27&FilingSubtypeID=1163
After the sentence: "In 2012, the bank created a mortgage division specializing in customized lending, with a focus on jumbo loans."

Summary of request: Correct infobox name, update current officer titles, and replace dead citation The requested edits backlog is very high. Please be extremely patient. There are currently 534 requests waiting for review. Please read the instructions for the parameters used by this template for accepting and declining them, and review the request below and make the edit if it is well sourced, neutral, and follows other Wikipedia guidelines and policies. |
Disclosure: I am the Digital Communications Manager of Chain Bridge Bank, N.A. I make this request as an employee of, and on behalf of, the Bank. I have a conflict of interest and am not editing the article directly.
This request supersedes my earlier request. I am not requesting a page move, article-title change, or change to the first sentence. I have three specific requests.
1. Infobox name
In the infobox, please change the displayed name from:
"Chain Bridge Bank"
to:
"Chain Bridge Bank, N.A."
Reason: The article title can remain "Chain Bridge Bank." This request is limited to the infobox display name. The Bank’s official website and regulatory financial filings page identify the institution as Chain Bridge Bank, N.A.
References:

2. Outdated officer titles
In the "Leadership" section, please replace:
"David M. Evinger, president – risk management and director of Chain Bridge Bank, N.A. and Chain Bridge Bancorp, Inc."
with:
"David M. Evinger, president, chief credit officer and director of Chain Bridge Bank, N.A.; president, chief risk officer and director of Chain Bridge Bancorp, Inc."
Please also replace:
"Joanna Williamson, chief financial officer, Chain Bridge Bank, N.A. and treasurer, Chain Bridge Bancorp, Inc."
with:
"Joanna R. Williamson, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Chain Bridge Bank, N.A. and Chain Bridge Bancorp, Inc."
Reason: The current source for the Leadership section is a dead link, and the officer titles are outdated. The current Executive Leadership page supports these corrected titles.
3. Dead-link repair
In the "Leadership" section, the citation titled "People › Chain Bridge Bank" is a dead link:
https://www.chainbridgebank.com/connect-with-us/about-us/people
Please replace it with the Bank’s current Executive Leadership source, which also supports the corrected titles in item 2:
