Four-car units

I think that I'm right in saying that Class 380/1 were the first four-car EMUs to be allocated to Scotland; indeed, so far as I can work out, all previous EMUs in Scotland, right back to the Class 303 of fifty years earlier, had three cars. Does anybody have a source which explicitly states that 380/1 were the first Scottish EMUs not to have three cars? --Redrose64 (talk) 16:46, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Class 322s operated in Scotland. -mattbuck (Talk) 17:55, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
OK, yes, there were only five units, they were there from 2001 to 2011 and I think they only operated east of Edinburgh, so I probably missed them. --Redrose64 (talk) 19:56, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
