The GPU descriptions of M1 and M2 device families states that a GPU core consists of 16 8-wide execution units. Where did this information come from? Apple does not provide architectural details of this nature about their GPUs and all circumstantial evidence points to 4 32-wide execution units (patents, Metal documentation, various WWDC sessions, and microbenchmarking such as https://github.com/philipturner/metal-benchmarks)

I submitted a correction, but it was reverted by another user for lacking a source (which I understand). Since no authoritative source exists, can we at least remove these hardware details until such source is available?

In the Products that use the Apple M2 series section, listed is a (rumored) Mixed reality headset. Do we really want to be cataloging rumored products? In the report by The Verge, they reference an article by Bloomberg that also talks about a rumored M2 Mac mini, yet this is not cataloged. It honestly makes no sense why this article was a keep just because it is a "major chip" Mutiple Qualcomm chips are very notable yet lacks an article. The article mentioned 15,8 and 31.6 TOPS for the M2 resp. M2 Ultra but no source is given. It also lacks the data type for these numbers. I tried to derive it myself but for this you need the clock frequency of the chip. By running sudo powermetrics --samplers gpu_power you can get the GPU frequency. It idles around 800 Mhz on my M2.
