2016 Activation
The circa has been removed twice from the activation date. The source cited mentions the activation ceremony taking place on that date. Activation ceremonies are not always held on the official activation date, which is established by Major Command orders issued under the authority of Department of the Air Force numbered organizational letters. Ceremony dates are often set by the availability of a senior officer to conduct the ceremony, not the actual date of activation. Until an updated Lineage & Honors Statement or the equivalent is published with the actual activation date for the group, the "circa" is required since the exact activation date is not established by the source. --Lineagegeek (talk) 13:46, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
