TOI-1260 is a single high-proper-motion K-type main-sequence star in the constellation of Ursa Major. Its surface temperature is 4227±85 K. TOI-1260 has an orange hue and is too faint to be seen with the naked eye, or a small telescope.[5] It has an apparent visual magnitude of 11.922±0.034. Based upon parallax measurements, it is located 239 light-years from the Sun. The object is drifting towards the Sun with a radial velocity of -16.7 km/s.[1]

Planetary system

TOI-1260 has three known planets, two discovered in 2021[2] and one in 2022 by the transit method.[6]

None of these three planets orbit in the habitable zone. All are sub-Neptunes, with masses and radii indicating that they are partly composed of gas.[3]
