Susmitha Prabhakaran is an Indian television actress who predominantly appears in Malayalam language soap operas.[1] She made her debut to television industry through Neeyum njanum in 2020.[2][3] Currently she plays the character Devika in Flowers TV serial opera Sukhamo devi.[4][5]

Early life

Susmitha was born on 10 April 1995 in Guruvayur, Thrissur.[3] She did her schooling in her home town itself and completed MBA from Wisdom college,Pavaratty, Thrissur. Susmitha had an interset towards acting from her childhood itself, but lacked support from family. Prior to acting she tried hard to grab a job through Psc coaching, bank tests etc.[5] In 2019 her debut musical album Malar was released. Susmitha got her debut television role in Neeyum njanum through Bhoomichithra audition.[6] This role marked a turning point in her life and career too. The actress marks herself as a less interactive person until the entry to television.[7]
