GIT Academy (Chinese: 寰球旅游学院) is a Tvet vocational training institution specialising in tourism education, professional development, and industry-specific skills. Founded in 1994, it is recognised by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) and registered as a Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) Training Provider.[1]

History

GIT Academy was established in 1994. Over the years, the institution expanded to include tour leader training, corporate learning modules, and niche tourism programmes.[2]

In 2024, GIT Academy entered a collaboration with AirAsia Drone to introduce drone-oriented tourism safety training.[3]
