This submission on John Demco

Hi Wikipedia editors - I wanted to be transparent about this submission on John Demco so it can be judged fairly.

I am an employee at CIRA and John Demco is a board advisor for CIRA. However, John does not collect a paycheque from the organization and is not my employer. He also did not ask us to write this submission. It was drafted because John played an essential role in the development of the Internet in Canada.

After reading this submission, I believe you will agree he is worthy of having his own Wikipedia page. When writing it, I tried to use a neutral tone and included footnotes from respected publications wherever possible. I am open to working to improve the draft in any way possible to ensure it meets your high standards.
