Draft:Wyncor

  • Comment: We are not seeing corporate depth here. See WP:SIRS and the sections below. Some of the sources look like repackaged press releases, and the one clearly reliable source, Deadline, doesn't say much about the company, being more interested in Jacob. It is very hard to get over the notability guideline for companies, the overwhelming majority of companies will not succeed in so doing. ChrysGalley (talk) 11:30, 9 April 2026 (UTC)

Wyncor is a Franco-American group specializing in audiovisual production and distribution, as well as the manufacturing and distribution of licensed products. It was founded in December 2023 by French entrepreneur Julian Jacob.

The group (known as the Wync Group) is composed of Wyncor Media (audiovisual production), Wyncor Products (toy manufacturing and distribution), and Wyncor Content Distribution (audiovisual distribution). The group distributes its products in more than 25,000 stores worldwide through retailers such as Walmart, Target, Carrefour, Kohl's, La Grande Récré, The Entertainers, Amazon Europe, and Amazon USA.[1][2] The group has sold several million toys across more than 41 countries.[3]

In 2025, the Wyncor Group signed a partnership with Hasbro.[4]

History

In 2014, Julian Jacob relocated to the United States and quickly entered the licensed toy sector. His activity reportedly generated the sale of 750 million products worldwide.

In 2023, Julian Jacob founded Wyncor. The company's headquarters were initially located in the United States, in Hollywood, near Miami, Florida. The name "Wyncor" is built on two syllables: the first derives from the English word to win; the second from the Latin word cor (heart). The name was chosen for its accessibility to both English and French speakers.

The company's headquarters subsequently moved to Paris, on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in 2025, Wyncor launched its media division, Wyncor Media, dedicated to audiovisual production. The division develops original intellectual properties across animated series, short-form content, and digital formats.[5]

Concept

The company's objective is to achieve fast product development and distribution timelines. Its CEO aims to launch 200 new products and 20 new brands every year. The group relies on major distribution companies including Amazon, Carrefour, Toys "R" Us, Walmart, and Kohl's.

Products

Wyncor offers a wide range of products. Among its most visible is the Miraball Surprise,[6][7] distributed by Walmart, Target, Amazon, La Grande Récré, Rofu, and thousands of other retailers. The Miraball is available in several licensed versions under Hasbro, which holds rights to brands such as Peppa Pig, Transformers, and Dungeons & Dragons.

Media Exposure

In 2025, during Season 5 of the French TV show Qui veut être mon associé ? on M6, Julian Jacob served as a judge and appeared as president of Wyncor.

Philanthropy

Wyncor supports cancer research and donates a portion of its revenues to Gustave Roussy, a leading French cancer institute. Julian Jacob also donates toys to pediatric hospitals in France and the United States.
