Wyatt Lee (born 2008) is a Canadian sprinter. In 2025, he set Canadian under-18 best times in the 60 metres and 100 metres.[1]
Career
From Kingston, Ontario, Lee attended Frontenac Secondary School.[2] In 2024, Lee ran a personal best for the 100 metres of 10.61 seconds and won medals in 100m and 200 metres at OFSAA, Ontario’s high school track championships. Competing at the 2025 Canadian Indoor Track and Field Championships in Toronto, Lee set a new Canadian U18 indoor record with a time of 6.71 seconds for the 60 metres, breaking the previous record of 6.73 seconds set by Brandon Bobb in 2012.[3]
Lee broke the Canadian U18 national best for the 100 metres, previously set by Aaron Brown in 2009, three times in 2025. He recorded a 10.44 run at a meet in New York, before lowering it with a run of 10.42 seconds. He became the fastest high school sprinter in Canadian history at the Ontario high school championships, running 10.38 seconds to break the record set in 1994 by Carlton Chambers. He also won the 200 metres at the championships, including a personal best of 21.07 seconds.[2]
Lee lowered his personal best time for the 60 metres at the 2026 Canadian Indoor Athletics Championships, running 6.67 to qualify for the final before placing third overall with a new best of 6.66 seconds. Aged 17 years and 295 days-old at the time of the race, he became the youngest Canadian to break 6.70 seconds for 60 metres. The time moved him to fourth on the Canadian U20 all-time list, 0.04 seconds from the record set by Bolade Ajomale.[4]
In May 2026, Lee committed to attended North Carolina State University.[5]
