Winnie Cheche is a Kenyan climate activist, environmental communicator, conservationist and blogger known for her work in promoting sustainable living, wildlife conservation and youth engagement in climate action. She is based in Nairobi, Kenya, and serves in leadership roles in several environmental organisations.^[1][2]

Winnie Cheche grew up near Lake Nakuru National Park in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, where her early connection with wildlife and nature helped shape her passion for conservation. She witnessed firsthand the effects of poaching and environmental change, which later influenced her climate advocacy work.^[3]

Cheche began her environmental activism through social media posts and blogging, sharing her views on climate change, wildlife welfare, and sustainable practices. Over time, this evolved into strategic communication and leadership roles within environmental organizations.^[1]
