William Cheng Chun Shan (Chinese: 鄭震山; born 4 November 1961) is a Hong Kong inventor and entrepreneur specializing in clinical microbiology and diagnostic technology. He is the founder of Grant Technology (HK) Co., Ltd. (泓展科技(香港)有限公司), a medical supplier based in the Hong Kong Science Park.
Education
Cheng earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Technology from the Queensland Institute of Technology (now Queensland University of Technology) in 1983. He was a registered medical technologist in Hong Kong.
Career
Since 1997, Cheng has served as the managing director of Grant Technology (HK) Co., Ltd.[1] The company develops and distributes microbiology reagents and laboratory equipment, and is a recognized supplier by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.[2] His work focuses on localizing the manufacturing of medical diagnostics to support hospital laboratories in Hong Kong.
