True Search is a Philadelphia-based executive search firm co-founded in 2012 by Brad Stadler and Joe Riggione.[1] The firm operates in the technology and executive recruitment sectors, focusing on venture capital and private equity-backed companies.[1][2]
History
The firm was established in 2012 and initially operated as a bridge between Philadelphia-area corporate leadership and Silicon Valley technology sectors.[1] In 2021, the firm received a minority investment from LLR Partners, which preceded a series of acquisitions intended to expand the firm's practice areas.[3]
In 2025, industry research firm Hunt Scanlon Media ranked True Search as the sixth-largest executive search provider in the Americas by fee revenue.[2] The firm reported an annual growth rate of 15.1% for that period, compared to the aggregate growth of the industry's five largest firms.[2]
In 2025, Integrum Holdings acquired a majority stake in the firm. As part of the transaction, former Xerox CEO Ursula Burns joined the company's board of directors.[4]
