Transgender Tapestry
Transgender Tapestry was a magazine published by the International Foundation for Gender Education from 1978 to 2008. Originally called "The TV-TS Tapestry", the magazine began as the newsletter of the Tiffany Club, a club for crossdressers and transsexuals founded by Merissa Sherrill Lynn.
Design
The original newsletter was published as a typewritten... A single rose was used as the publication's logo for its first 27 issues, until October of 1980, when the logo was changed to an image of two hands embracing a rose. [1]

Tapestry has been described as a precursor to online transgender community networks, as well as an influence on modern trans publications. [2]
