Draft:The Acoustic Section
This draft does not have sufficient content to warrant a standalone article of its own, but it could be merged into the existing article at The Eras Tour.

Comment: The references do not show that the acoustic section is notable enough in its own right for a standalone article; this would be better off being included in the main article about the tour. Nil🥝 22:44, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
Comment: I think this should be merged into the Eras tour page as a new section. If Taylor Swift has released / will release a live album chronicling all the acoustic song choices she made on the tour, then a separate page would be warranted. Trainsskyscrapers (talk) 17:26, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
The Acoustic Section refers to the "Surprise Song" acoustic performances given by Taylor Swift on The Eras Tour (2023-2024). Swift performed two acoustic songs each night: one on guitar and one on piano. Each show featured unique performances, mashups, and songs.
The Acoustic Section enveloped many caveats, rules, and changes. During a 2023 Tampa show[1], Swift announced a "caveat" allowing her to repeat a surprise song if it was from Midnights. At the start of her Asia-Pacific tour leg in 2024, Swift began to perform mashups of two or more songs acoustic.
Certain shows throughout the tour were selected to be performed with a special guest. For example, London Night 8 saw "Getaway Car" performed on guitar with Jack Antonoff.
Surprise Songs List
Below is the list of the surprise songs performed from The Eras Tour:
Outfits
During the tour, Swift saw a total of 11 surprise song dresses used while performing the set. Many were retired after each leg or main section of the tour.
On the final show in Los Angeles, Swift announced 1989 (Taylor's Version) during the set and debuted a blue version of the original dress.
