Draft:SwaftMC

It all started when F-student and inventor Taylor Swaft Wu decided to pursue his dream to create an Eaglercraft server after being introduced to Eaglercraft by his peers.

By using a combination of Claude AI, his superior intellect of Eaglercraft, and networking skills, he was able to create his first version of the server in 6th grade. He named it SwaftMC. Using his Swaft aura, he gained a couple of early players in his server, the most important of which was named Bobbyboo. As he was nearing the end of the year, he had already had 10 devoted players, notably iamsteve__, Eraksersus, Bobbyboo, Tkinter, B____B, and moomoocow.

During the summer, some players disappeared. The people who played the most were, of course, YourDreeams, aka Taylor Wu in real life, Tkinter, aka Xinrui Wen in real life, and B___B, who has remained anonymous. Bobbyboo, also known as Marcus Weinreich, played somewhat throughout the summer and tested.

However, YourDreeams made a serious mistake. He gave both of these players essentials.* permissions, which gave them the power to create extremely illegal things such as Levitation 125 potions and items with custom NBT. B___B, when met with cease and desist requests, decided to leave the server. YourDreeams also used Deepseek to generate scripts for fun things in his server. Many memories and hours were poured into SwaftMC during the summer of 2025, when both Tkinter and YourDreeams were in Shanghai, China.

Swaft decided to move away from Hosting Haven where he previously hosted his server to a VPS on LiquidWeb. However, the resources were too little and the support was absolute dogshit, so he decided to switch yet again to IONOS for twice the memory. This was a time of lots of downtimes due to the bad internet of Swaft.


During October - December of 2025, SwaftMC grew. During 8:00 - 9:00 PST, SwaftMC experienced up to 25 players! However, things went downhill when YourDreeams took a vacation to the Carribeans in December of 2025. Many bugs surfaced, and YourDreeams had to solve them 1 by 1 in a very time-consuming way. He was able to get back on his feet but SwaftMC never prospered as much as before.

SwaftMC continued to get more updates even when YourDreeams moved on to some side projects, with Practice PvP attracting more and more players. However, as the spring grew close, YourDreeams was flooded with many IRL stuff like piano and fencing competitions.

YourDreeams had a bit more time during spring break, so he was finally online for once in a long time. SwaftMC reaches a new player count of 36 during this time.
