Starch Creative
Starch Creative is an American experience design agency focused on creating immersive retail environments, brand environments, and experiences. The company is headquartered in Costa Mesa, California.[1]
The agency was founded in 2015 by Brandon Ball, a former Vans executive who previously worked in global retail and brand experience roles.[1]
History
Starch Creative was established in Southern California in 2015 by Brandon Ball.[2]
In 2022, Ad Age reported that Starch Creative raised concerns about the use of creative work it had produced for beverage company Laird Superfood, in an article examining intellectual property issues in the advertising industry.[3]
In 2023, Starch Creative was included in the NextNW Marketing All-Stars Class, a regional recognition program highlighting marketing professionals and agencies.[4]
In 2025, the Orange County Business Journal featured Starch Creative as a nominee in its Family-Owned Business Awards report.[5]
Services
Starch Creative develops immersive physical brand experiences, including retail store environments and branded installations.[6]

Purpose Supply Co.
In 2018, Starch Creative acquired Greydog Signs and Displays and relaunched it as Purpose Supply Co., a fabrication and production subsidiary supporting the company’s retail and brand environment work.[2]
