Stand2Pee is a brand and video tutorial series created to teach women how to urinate while standing without the use of external devices. The instructional video was first released as a DVD in 2010 and focuses on natural body positioning, posture, and technique.
The project was developed in response to practical challenges faced by women in situations with limited or unsanitary toilet access, including outdoor environments and public restrooms. It also addresses cultural assumptions related to gender and urination posture.
Background
In most societies, women are taught from childhood to urinate while sitting or squatting. Stand2Pee was created to challenge this norm by demonstrating that standing urination is a learnable skill for women without relying on external tools. The DVD presents step-by-step visual instruction based on anatomy, balance, and muscle control.
