Spiritstead is an upcoming indie life-simulation and town-building video game developed and published by Turbo Dog Games.[1] The game allows players to build and manage a magical village, balancing resources, productivity, and villager happiness while uncovering hidden spirits. A demo version is available on itch.io.[2]
Gameplay
In Spiritstead, players construct villages by placing houses, paths, markets, and workshops.[1] Villagers arrive and can be assigned to work on a farm. Each villager has needs, and their happiness must be maintained; otherwise, they may become unhappy or leave the village. Structures like cafés and bookstores can help restore morale.[1]
The game features magical spirits that may appear under certain conditions, offering unique interactions. Two modes are available: a survival mode focused on resource management and a creative sandbox mode that emphasizes free building.[2]
